Full-time Shop Helper Direct Hire Rossville, IN Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Shop Helper to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily operations—ensuring our shop stays organized, our inventory is stocked, and our deliveries get where they need to go. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment where you aren't tied to a desk, this is the perfect spot for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics & Deliveries:
Safely load and unload incoming/outgoing deliveries. Safely operate company vehicles to make local and occasional out-of-state deliveries.
Inventory Control:
Assist with receiving, counting, and restocking inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
Shop Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment (sweeping, organizing tools, clearing debris, and emptying trash).
Team Support:
Lend a hand to technicians and managers with various tasks around the shop as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Driver's License:
Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (required for making out-of-state deliveries).
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout the shift.
Dependability:
Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Communication:
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients during deliveries.
