Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Driver Supervisor to lead our team of drivers and warehouse staff during the evening hours. This pivotal role ensures efficient distribution operations, maintains safety standards, and fosters a team-oriented environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of delivery drivers and warehouse personnel on the 2nd shift to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Oversee inventory management processes, including inventory control, warehouse distribution, and materials handling to optimize stock accuracy. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies during all operations, promoting a safe work environment. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 to track shipments, manage shipping & receiving documentation, and monitor inventory levels. Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows within the warehouse and distribution processes. Conduct regular safety audits, forklift inspections (certification preferred), and training sessions to uphold safety standards. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipments for e-commerce orders and third-party logistics (3PL) partners. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse supervision or team management within a distribution or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and materials handling equipment such as forklifts. Familiarity with OSHA regulations, shipping & receiving procedures, and heavy lifting protocols. Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills related to warehouse equipment or refrigeration systems is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive process improvements. Prior experience working with logistics software like AS400 or similar platforms is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. $50,000 - $60,000/year + benefits Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver Supervisor with a valid CDL to oversee daily transportation operations, ensure driver compliance, and support safe, efficient delivery services. This role combines leadership, logistics coordination, and hands-on driving when necessary.
