Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic landscape team as a Landscape Crew Lead and take charge of transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant, beautiful environments! In this energetic role, you'll oversee daily landscaping operations, supervise crew members, and ensure high-quality maintenance and construction projects. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional results that enhance our clients' outdoor experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, lawn care, irrigation, and landscape construction while leading a passionate team dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscape workers to complete maintenance, planting, pruning, irrigation installation, and landscape construction projects efficiently and safely. Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, weed control, and soil management to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive. Oversee tree care operations including pruning, planting, and health assessments to ensure safety and vitality. Manage irrigation systems installation and repairs to optimize water efficiency across various sites. Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and client expectations. Maintain equipment and tools in excellent condition; oversee routine maintenance to maximize longevity and safety. Support team development by providing training on horticultural practices, safety protocols, and new landscaping techniques. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping projects, or related outdoor work environments. Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest management. Familiarity with landscape construction processes such as planting beds, hardscaping, fencing, and irrigation systems. Expertise in tree care including pruning techniques and health assessments. Understanding of horticulture principles with an emphasis on plant health and soil management. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and perform routine maintenance on tools. Leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to motivate team members and coordinate with clients or project managers. Commitment to safety standards in all aspects of outdoor work environments.
