The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of landscaping practices, including lawn care, tree care, and irrigation systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations while fostering a positive team environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of the landscaping crew to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation system management. Oversee the installation of new landscapes, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Train team members on best practices in landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Perform regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality and adherence to company standards. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any repairs needed promptly. Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations for improvements or enhancements. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping techniques. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team effectively. Knowledge in lawn care, tree care, gardening, horticulture, and irrigation systems. Familiarity with construction practices related to landscaping projects. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation. Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while ensuring high-quality results. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
