Full Job Description Job Summary:
The ideal Crew Lead is one who can direct and assist in completing artificial grass or synthetic turf projects for various applications such as residential lawns, putting greens, commercial landscapes, dog parks, playgrounds, and sports fields. This role requires a foundation of hands-on landscape or construction work, supervisor skills, and some technical reporting.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Daily management of turf installers to complete projects timely while upholding quality standards
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate equipment Operate machinery to complete excavation and base prep / final grade efficiently Direct installers to complete perimeter edging efficiently and effectively Identify potential issues with drainage and establish a plan to resolve issues during base preparation Utilize non-motorized equipment to complete base work to final grade Directly manage job site Direct installers to complete installation process timely and to quality standards Ensure collaboration amongst install team to maintain efficiency Organize job site in a manner that allows for efficient installation Report job data to project manager Report Labor and material usage to project manager Daily company cam videos showing progress on project Daily videos for social media / marketing content Supervise installers Direct installers on installation procedures Oversee install quality on-site from beginning to end on the installation Train and develop installers to be more efficient during installation Review installers work at the end of each project Identify efficiency gains Observe Installation procedures for potential efficiency gains during project Review products used for install for input on potential substitute products that could be used for efficiency gains during installation Report potential efficiency improvements to project manager for potential roll out to other crew leads.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience:
1+ year of experience in construction or landscaping
Physical Requirements:
Walking, lifting, and outdoor exposure on job sites for content creation Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
