Moving Supervisor/Driver

Job Description Davis Moving & Cleaning is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, strong organizational skills, and hands-on experience operating 26ft box trucks. This position is critical to ensuring the seamless execution of our moving and cleaning operations, maintaining a high standard of service, and fostering a positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities Leadership :

Supervise, lead, and motivate a team of movers and custodians to achieve daily operational goals. Provide training and guidance to ensure team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies. Act as the primary point of contact for resolving on-site issues and ensuring client satisfaction.

Driving and Operations :

Safely operate and drive a 26ft box truck to various job sites across San Antonio and surrounding areas. Oversee loading, unloading, and secure transport of equipment and materials. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Logistics and Coordination :

Schedule team assignments and ensure proper staffing for each job. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management to coordinate logistics. Maintain accurate records of jobs completed, hours worked, and mileage.

Safety and Compliance :

Ensure all team members comply with safety standards and protocols. Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a clean driving record. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience operating 26ft box trucks with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and maintain compliance with company and state regulations. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required in moving operations.
