®! We're looking for a hands-on, people-focused Operations Manager to lead our team in College Station, TX. This role is perfect for someone who can not only hire, train, and coach moving crews, but who can also jump in and work alongside them when needed. If you're a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, we want to meet you! What You'll Do Supervise and dispatch mover/driver teams daily; coordinate employee scheduling and truck assignments Conduct performance audits during moves to ensure safety and exceptional customer service Perform vehicle inspections and paperwork audits; maintain compliance standards Lead by example with strong attendance, work ethic, and attitude; coach and develop team members Determine staffing needs, interview, hire, and oversee onboarding and training Manage fleet maintenance, equipment inventory, and ensure trucks/equipment are clean, safe, and well-maintained Promote safety and enforce DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines Hold employees accountable through clear development and corrective action processes Serve as an on-call contact for after-hours emergencies Perform other operational duties as needed Who We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred Management, business operations, DOT, or industry-related experience strongly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one Willingness to undergo a background check and random drug screening Availability to work Saturdays Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift and move furniture during training or when assisting crews Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and direct team members Strong decision-making skills and the ability to evaluate performance and implement improvements Basic truck/vehicle knowledge Experience in general labor, leadership, logistics, transportation, construction, warehousing, manufacturing, or similar fields is helpful This job posting is for a position at the individually owned and operated
