Irrigation Crew Lead

  • Full-time Black Diamond Landscaping is growing and we're looking for an experienced, motivated Irrigation Crew Lead to join our team in the DFW Metroplex.
You'll take ownership of irrigation installations, repairs, and maintenance across our commercial accounts — including HOA communities, multifamily properties, and retail centers — leading your crew with professionalism and precision. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead daily irrigation job site operations and direct crew workflow Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation systems across commercial accounts Perform system startups, shutdowns, and seasonal adjustments Manage irrigation scheduling and programming using Weathermatic software Log job activity, time, and notes accurately in Aspire (job management software) Conduct quality checks before departing each job site Drive company vehicles to and from job sites safely and responsibly Communicate job site updates, issues, and crew needs to management promptly Represent Black Diamond Landscaping professionally with clients at all times
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of hands-on irrigation experience — commercial experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Comfortable using technology — we use Aspire and Weathermatic platforms daily Ability to read and interpret irrigation system layouts and diagrams Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
PREFERRED
(NOT
REQUIRED
) Experience servicing HOA communities, multifamily properties, or retail centers Texas Irrigator License (or working toward one) is a plus Prior crew lead or supervisory experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
