The Crew Leader will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring project completion on schedule and within budget while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as hands-on involvement in fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision:
Lead and coordinate field technicians, ensuring tasks are done safely and efficiently.
Safety:
Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce rules, and maintain compliance with regulations (OSHA, DOT).
Field Work:
Operate equipment, perform maintenance, assist in line installation/repair, and conduct leak investigations. Actively supervise and coordinate the work of multiple crews on job sites. Provide clear direction, support, and training to employees to ensure efficient and high-quality work. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and with minimal cost overruns. Promote and enforce a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Monitor project progress and address issues that could delay or hinder work. Prepare and maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and material usage. Track, report, and optimize the utilization of equipment and vehicles. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Experience in gas distribution, utility maintenance, or construction. Knowledge of tools, materials, and safety procedures. Ability to work outdoors, in confined spaces, and perform physical labor. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid Driver's License, often a CDL
