Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Landscaping Crew Leader to spearhead our outdoor maintenance and landscaping projects. In this role, you will lead a team of skilled landscapers, ensuring high-quality execution of landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction tasks. Duties Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members to complete daily tasks efficiently and safely Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water use Coordinate landscaping projects such as garden design, construction, and hardscape installation Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations Train crew members on proper techniques for lawn care, tree care, horticulture practices, and equipment operation Maintain safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety guidelines during operations Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, and gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments Knowledge of lawn care techniques including fertilization, aeration, and pest management Familiarity with construction practices related to landscape projects such as retaining walls or pathways Expertise in tree care including pruning, cabling, and health assessment Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and effectively Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
