As the Night Warehouse Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the safety, productivity and efficiency of warehouse operations. You will be supervising employees and monitoring operational flow to create a culture of safety and family while providing to the customer experience. A successful candidate will have effectively demonstrated an ability to supervise, lead, and communicate effectively to multiple warehouse employees. This individual should possess strong attention to detail, dedication to safety, and a drive to provide quality in their work.Primary Responsibilities:
Communicating with warehouse associates daily under the direction of the Night Warehouse Manager. Attending effectively and consistently to employees; ensuring processes are followed. Supervising efficient operations of warehouse and transportation. Assisting in the hiring process and interviewing of potential employees. Training, supervising, and evaluating the performance of warehouse employees. Collaborating with team leads regarding personnel movement and workload completion. Maintaining attendance, productivity information, and employee performance logs. Monitoring supplies and directing replenishment efforts as needed. Ensuring that all equipment is in proper working condition and coordinating repairs. Planning and organizing the work and resource flow to complete shifts safely and effectively. Collaborating with other supervisors to improve production, quality, and communication. Ensuring that all merchandise and shipping containers are restocked for order selection staff. Supervising efficient operations of the warehouse, providing daily detailed reports to warehouse management and making adjustments during the shift to ensure efficiency in processes. Leading safe work practices in adherence with Performance Foodservice safety policies and requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.Benefits:

Education High School Diploma or GED required; additional coursework or certification in logistics, supply chain, or operations is a plus. Experience Minimum of 2 years of hands-on warehouse operations experience, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, or material handling. At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a team of 10-20 associates, including training, coaching, and performance management. Leadership & Team Management Proven ability to motivate, lead, and hold associates accountable to productivity, safety, and quality standards. Experience assigning work, monitoring labor, and resolving team conflicts in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to give clear direction and feedback. Operational & Technical Skills Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking, and basic reporting. Ability to interpret operational metrics (labor productivity, order accuracy, safety data) and take corrective action. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe material handling practices. Work Schedule & Flexibility Ability to work 2nd shift into overnight hours, including weekends or overtime as business needs require. Reliable attendance and flexibility to adjust schedules during peak volume periods. Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to work in a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels and potential temperature extremes (heat and cold). Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks as needed. Problem Solving & Decision-Making Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions under pressure. Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities in a high-volume operation.Preferred qualifications:
Prior experience in distribution, fulfillment, or large-scale warehouse operations. Demonstrated experience training and onboarding new hires, as well as supporting continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives. Bilingual communication skills preferred. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-4 years of experience supervising multiple employees in a warehouse or operational environment. Intermediate proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), electronic communication tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Certification and/or experience operating powered material handling equipment such as Walkies, Reach Trucks, Dock Stockers, or similar equipment. Experience performing administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, documentation, and paperwork processing. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Experience analyzing operational data, reviewing performance metrics, and making recommendations to improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy. Hands-on experience using electronic warehouse or inventory management software.EEO Statement:
