Warehouse Lead

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a Warehouse Receiving Lead to support daily distribution operations in Avondale, AZ. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can keep the floor organized, the line staffed, and orders moving with speed and accuracy. You'll help drive production standards, reinforce safety expectations, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to meet customer requirements. The Day-to-Day:

Ensure the line is properly staffed and ready for the workday, including oversight of temporary associates Support the Supervisor and internal teams to meet and exceed customer requirements Maintain a safe, secure environment for associates and protect inventory integrity Coordinate with departments and teams to align on processes, procedures, and workflow execution Monitor production standards and collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with safety rules, customer expectations, and company policies Ensure priority orders are shipped in cartons according to operational requirements Perform order fulfillment responsibilities, including reviewing available orders, assessing stock needs, and maintaining required inventory levels Reprioritize work as needed by placing orders on hold, activating orders, and adjusting priorities in the system Pick, pack, verify picked orders, and stage completed shipments for outbound processing Troubleshoot system issues and communicate through leadership and internal channels when escalation is needed Identify operational improvement opportunities and contribute ideas that increase efficiency and accuracy Complete additional tasks as assigned to support business needs

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of distribution/warehouse experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to lead small teams of 5-10 associates Proven experience in training, coaching, and developing staff on daily processes and procedures Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple levels of an organization Conflict resolution skills with a practical, solutions-focused mindset Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to operate with a strong sense of urgency Comfortable managing multiple priorities without dropping the ball Proficient with computer tools, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; WMS experience preferred Ability to maintain consistent communication using virtual platforms such as email and Slack Strong record of safety awareness and dependable attendance Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Pay Rate:

$22.00 to $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30

PM Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
