Lead the Team That Keeps Everything Moving Hill Threaded Products is a growing industrial supply distributor serving contractors, manufacturers, maintenance departments, and industrial customers throughout California and beyond. We're looking for a Warehouse Operations Lead who takes pride in organization, accuracy, leadership, and customer service. This role is responsible for leading a team of 4-6 warehouse associates while ensuring the efficient operation of receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, and customer pickups. This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll work alongside your team, help solve problems, improve processes, and ensure customers receive the right products on time. What You'll Do Team Leadership Lead, coach, and support a team of 4-6 warehouse associates. Assign and prioritize daily tasks to meet customer and operational demands. Train warehouse associates on company SOPs, safety standards, operational procedures, and best practices. Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy while fostering a positive and accountable team environment. Lead by example through professionalism, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Warehouse Operations Oversee daily warehouse activities including order fulfillment, stocking, shipping, and receiving. Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Coordinate workflow and address operational bottlenecks as they arise. Work closely with sales, purchasing, and management teams to support customer needs and company objectives. Coordinate local customer deliveries and vendor pickups. Customer Service Assist customers at the will-call counter. Help customers identify products and fulfill pickup orders accurately. Provide professional and responsive service that supports long-term customer relationships. Inventory Management Manage inventory counts, cycle counts, audits, and warehouse inventory resets. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and organized. Maintain high inventory accuracy standards that support sales and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, organization, and efficiency. Safety & Facility Management Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness. Enforce company safety procedures and safe material handling practices. Ensure warehouse equipment and work areas are properly maintained. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lead by example and motivate others. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to safely lift and move warehouse materials. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Warehouse lead, supervisor, or team lead experience. Forklift certification or forklift operating experience. Experience in industrial supplies, fasteners, construction materials, manufacturing, or distribution. Inventory control, cycle count, and auditing experience. ERP, warehouse management, or inventory software experience. Shipping and receiving experience. $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
