Job Description

Our client, a well-known bakery café and food manufacturing company, is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join their team in Brea, CA . In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations in a multi-temperature environment, leading a team of warehouse associates while ensuring efficient inventory management, food safety compliance, and smooth distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and motivate a team of 5+ warehouse associates to ensure productivity and operational efficiency Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, storage organization, and distribution activities Monitor incoming shipments, overseas containers, and inventory movement to ensure accurate receiving and proper storage within the WMS system Oversee purchasing and inventory management of shipping and warehouse materials Inspect fruit and other products for quality assurance prior to store distribution Work closely with the shipping team to ensure pallets are properly wrapped, labeled, and prepared for delivery Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts as needed Ensure compliance with food safety standards, warehouse safety procedures, and company policies Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and overall facility security Assist in resolving operational issues and support continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations required Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and distribution procedures Knowledge of food safety practices and warehouse safety regulations Experience in a multi-temperature warehouse environment is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as needed
Pay & Schedule:
Pay Rate:
$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00
PM Pay:
From $26.00 per hour
