Donation Center Supervisor Position Details Position Location :

This position is eligible for a 9-80 Alternative Work Schedule Position Overview At Working Wardrobes , we empower individuals facing employment challenges by providing resources to transform their futures. As the Donation Center Supervisor , you will manage Donation Center operations, including inventory, quality control, volunteer staff, and overall daily operations. You will collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure efficient workflows, high-quality standards, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead, Manage and hold accountable: Lead, manage, and hold accountable a team of three full-time staff members, ensuring completion of all daily operations, weekly objectives, and special event tasks. Approve time requests, spend requests, and admin duties for Donation Center staff and location. Supervise and coordinate volunteer activities to optimize productivity and engagement. Maintain and update volunteer schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency. Oversee task assignments, providing direction and support to ensure successful execution.Operational Management:
Oversee daily operations to ensure quality donations and smooth processes. Maintain and rotate inventory for effective distribution. Manage cleanliness and organization of the Donation Center, including daily upkeep of the lobby and storage areas.Quality Control & Inventory:
Lead team to ensure high standards of quality control for donations and merchandise. Manage inventory levels and determine product allocations with input from various teams. Lead and own accountability for end of year inventory of on-hand products.Transportation & Maintenance:
Schedule and coordinate donation pickups and drop-offs. Operate the Donation Center truck and forklift as needed. Oversee execution of the facilities maintenance plan, coordinating repairs as needed.Sales:
Partner with Social Enterprise Director for approvals and planning in implementing wholesale, ragger, E-com, and monthly sale promotions. Execute agreed plans. Skills & Qualifications 3 years of experience in retail/warehouse operations, with 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and customer sales tracking software. Forklift operator experience (certification training available). Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
