POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Vehicle Receiving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily intake and documentation of vehicles at the warehouse. This role ensures that each vehicle received is accurately logged, photographed, and inspected, with all pertinent documentation such as titles, invoices, and keys. By maintaining clear communication with clients regarding the status and condition of their vehicles, this role supports the organization's commitment to efficient and accurate vehicle processing.

OBJECTIVES
Use best practices and safety protocols when operating a forklift to ensure smooth vehicle intake. Direct drivers to avoid blocking vehicle ingress and egress areas, maintaining clear pathways for efficient movement. Safely and carefully unload vehicles, adhering to damage-prevention protocols. Ensure all vehicle documents, including titles, invoices, and keys, are collected and organized upon receipt. Operate Apple iOS devices and SIMI systems effectively for inventory management and record-keeping. Take required photos of each vehicle daily and report any new damage promptly, noting cracked windshields, missing items, or other notable issues. Confirm each vehicle's VIN and associated key matches the documented records for accuracy. Categorize and organize vehicles within the yard by type (e.g., SUV, van, sedan, truck, motorcycle) to streamline identification and processing. Notify the vehicle department daily of new vehicle arrivals and ensure documentation is complete for each batch of 10-15 vehicles. Accurately label all keys received and ensure they are securely stored. Immediately address issues with vehicles missing documentation by coordinating with drivers, informing accounting, and confirming consignee information. Identify biohazard vehicles and implement appropriate safety measures to ensure safe handling and storage.
COMPETENCIES
Knowledge and skill in safely operating a forklift with proper certification. Ability to manage high-traffic areas and maintain clear paths for warehouse access. High accuracy in documenting vehicle conditions and maintaining thorough records. Experience using Apple iOS devices and familiarity with the SIMI system. Capable of maintaining a well-organized vehicle yard and accurate inventory tracking. Clear communication with team members, VM was, and drivers to ensure seamless operations. Fluency in English and Spanish for clear client and internal communications. Capable of addressing issues with incomplete documentation or vehicle discrepancies. Ability to process and mark 10 vehicles per hour efficiently. Able to lift over 50 pounds and operate manual vehicles. Recognizes biohazard risks and understands proper handling protocols. Maintains client satisfaction by ensuring accurate vehicle intake and reporting. Consistently follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain workflow integrity.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift certification. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or vehicle handling environment is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills required.
