Shipping and Receiving Lead FTAI Aviation Pacific, Inc Orange, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $28 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Referral program Qualifications Packing Driver's License Continuous improvement Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description The Shipping & Receiving Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping, receiving, and logistics operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role supports departmental workflow, coordinates with internal teams and external vendors, and provides guidance to Shipping & Receiving personnel in a fast-paced aerospace environment. In addition to operational oversight, this position supports key expediting functions, including managing priority repair orders and coordinating specialized processing requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee day-to-day Shipping & Receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments Provide guidance and support to team members to maintain efficient and organized workflow Ensure all parts are properly received, inspected, documented, packaged, and labeled in accordance with company and customer requirements Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries and resolve shipment-related issues Monitor and track priority jobs, including split repair orders, to ensure on-time completion Coordinate and prepare parts for heat treat processing and other external services Verify that all certifications, documentation, and records are complete and accurate Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to maintain job flow and address delays Maintain organized records and support reporting, tracking, and data entry as needed Identify opportunities for process improvement within shipping, receiving, and logistics workflows Provide hands-on support with shipping/receiving activities and assist with vendor pickups/deliveries as required
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or expediting (aerospace or manufacturing preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in data entry and general computer applications Strong communication and coordination skills across teams and vendors Valid driver's license (if applicable for deliveries/pickups)
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
