Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations at our Placentia, CA facility. In this role, you will supervise a team of warehouse associates, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time. You will be the go-to person on the floor: solving problems, driving productivity, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. What You'll DoTeam Leadership Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to meet daily operational targets Assign schedules, manage tasks, and adjust priorities based on shifting demands Conduct shift handovers with clear communication on progress, issues, and outstanding tasks Foster a positive, team-oriented culture and hold the team accountable to performance standards Operations Management Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily order waves from picking and packing through shipment Manage scheduling for inbound receiving and outbound shipping, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines Oversee the movement of product from receiving through staging, storage, and loading onto delivery trucks Track and report on shift progress using system reports, audits, and KPIs Inventory and Quality Control Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and discrepancy resolution Inspect inbound shipments to verify product matches SKUs and purchase orders Identify and resolve inventory variances, coordinating with operations and procurement as needed Maintain the warehouse breakage list and report findings to management weekly Systems and Communication Monitor warehouse management system (WMS) transactions and troubleshoot data or process issues Coordinate with IT to resolve system errors affecting operations Communicate with customer service regarding order discrepancies, delays, or special instructions Provide accurate daily reporting to management on shift performance and issues Safety and Compliance Enforce all warehouse safety protocols and ensure the team follows proper procedures at all times Conduct daily equipment inspections on forklifts and other warehouse machinery Lead and participate in safety meetings and inspections Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required 5+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a lead role Experience with inventory management, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment Ability to lift 50+lbs Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgment under pressure Clear verbal and written communication skills in English Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality Bonus (not required): Forklift certification Bilingual in Spanish Experience with data entry, dispatch, or logistics coordination Familiarity with continuous improvement or lean warehouse practices
