Employee Assistance Program Requirements We are searching for a candidate with: A valid driver's license The skill and ability to operate an order picker and all forklift equipment (obtained by passing OSHA required written test and demonstration) The ability to lift products (up to 20 lbs. 2/3 or more of the time, up to 50 lbs. 1/3 of the time), stand for 8 hours a day, count and write Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Maintaining awareness of safety principles and following company safety standards Inventory control of goods (counting, recording, reporting) Lean champion overseeing projects and champion of safety in the plant Maintaining order and placing all stock in designated areas Organizing goods and assisting with designating stocking locations as needed Quality control of product (identify and report defective, damaged, or otherwise bad products), reworking or scraping as required Experience with warehouse software, Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), SAP or Oracle preferred Serving as a back-up to Forklift and Order Fillers Wrapping skids of product for shipment, staging, recording and loading of internal transfers Helping out in other locations and departments as necessary General shop cleanliness. Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership
