We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Lead with strong experience in Shipping & Receiving operations and a background working in the produce, food distribution, or cold storage industry. This position is ideal for someone who can lead by example, oversee daily warehouse activities, manage warehouse associates, and ensure efficient product movement while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. Schedule Requirements Must be available to work early morning shifts starting between 2:00 AM and 3:00 AM Sunday is the scheduled day off Must be available to work Monday through Saturday Must be open to working 12-14 hour shifts as needed based on business demands Flexibility and reliability are required Responsibilities Lead and support daily Shipping & Receiving operations. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely deliveries. Verify incoming and outgoing product counts, quality, and documentation. Supervise warehouse associates and assist with daily work assignments. Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with inventory control processes. Ensure proper product rotation and storage practices. Maintain compliance with food safety, warehouse safety, and company procedures. Train and coach team members on warehouse processes and best practices. Communicate effectively with Operations, Production, Transportation, and Management teams. Assist with problem-solving and operational improvements to increase efficiency. Ensure all orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. Support warehouse productivity goals while maintaining a safe work environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead, Shipping Lead, Receiving Lead, or Warehouse Supervisor required. Experience working in a produce company, food distribution center, cold storage facility, or similar environment is required. Strong knowledge of Shipping & Receiving procedures. Experience managing inventory and warehouse documentation. Experience using RF Scanners is required. Experience operating Stand-Up Reach Forklifts is required. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Experience with inventory tracking and warehouse management systems preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Must be comfortable working extended shifts and early morning schedules. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to work in warehouse and refrigerated environments when needed. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
