At Food for the Hungry, we operate under a set of values called Heartbeat Values Job Summary Ensure that the PW attendance sheet reconcile with BML Sensitize & insure the communities on distribution allocation/entitlements to each household before the distribution takes place. Ensure complaint register is in place with adequate information dissemination system in connection with the distribution, Ensure a banner with allocation allowances clearly visible to the beneficiaries is put up in each distribution point during the distribution day. Manage and assign specific tasks to the commodity distributors. Ensure the scooping materials are used and in line with the allocated entitlement before every distribution is started. Ensure copies of all distribution documents are properly kept and filed i.e. the PASS (payroll), CIN, attendance sheet and other relevant documents. Together with Food monitors Conduct trainings for scoopers and food distributors on food management Fill and document commodity distribution monitoring report on each distribution date by FDP. Insure key message of the day are delivered by FH/stakeholders on the distribution day. Follow the General policy guidelines of the USAID and FH Ethiopia including the code of conduct Attend pre and post distribution meetings with the commodity distributors, scoopers and community leaders. FH expects its employees to maintain high ethical standards, protect organizational integrity and reputation, and ensure that FH work is carried out in honest and fair methods, in alignment with the FH Heartbeat and safeguarding and associated policies. Violations to stated policies will be subject to corrective action up to and including termination of employment. Education/ Experience - BSC in Accounting or any Related field of Study with 2 years related experience in a relevant position Preferably in INGO Setting. Previous experience working in a similar position with PReSERVE Project is an added advantage. This Position detail is subject to revision. Based on the urgent need for this position, Shortlisting shall be conducted on a rolling basis.
