Role Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on warehouse leader responsible for coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations across shipping, receiving, and warehouse execution. This role helps drive daily priorities, workflow organization, KPI accountability, and on-time order fulfillment while working directly alongside the warehouse team. This role serves as a trusted operational leader focused on execution, cross-functional communication, and maintaining daily operational flow. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and is designed as a development path toward future warehouse leadership opportunities as the business grows.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily warehouse priorities across shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities Help ensure all outbound orders ship accurately and on time Support same-day fulfillment goals and carrier cutoff timelines Direct and prioritize daily tasks for Warehouse Associates based on operational needs Monitor workflow throughout the day and adjust labor priorities as needed Track and communicate fulfillment KPIs, productivity, and operational risks Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, material organization, and ERP/WMS transaction accuracy Assist with picking, packing, palletizing, staging, shipping, and receiving activities as needed throughout the day Maintain warehouse organization and support 5S initiatives across staging and storage areas Escalate operational issues, inventory discrepancies, or fulfillment risks proactively Support SOP adherence, GMP standards, food safety expectations, and safe warehouse practices Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and warehouse flow
Secondary Responsibilities:
Assist with onboarding and training new warehouse associates Support development and documentation of warehouse SOPs and best practices Partner with the VP of Operations on warehouse process improvement initiatives
Accountability:
OTIF performance Fulfillment accuracy and throughput Warehouse organization and operational flow KPI visibility and daily execution consistency ERP/WMS transaction accuracy Team adherence to SOPs and operational priorities
Who You Are:
You're a highly dependable warehouse operator who leads through action, organization, and consistency. You thrive in fast-paced environments and naturally take ownership of keeping work moving efficiently throughout the day. You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and know how to balance urgency with accuracy. You're comfortable directing workflow and helping teammates stay aligned without needing formal management authority. You take pride in operational execution, problem-solving, and building structure that helps the entire team succeed. Most importantly, you're willing to jump into the work alongside the team and lead from the floor.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, or distribution environments
  • Experience coordinating daily warehouse operations, shipping workflows, or fulfillment activities
  • Comfortable working in ERP/WMS systems with strong transaction accuracy and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, inventory flow, and warehouse best practices
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds throughout the workday Nice to

  • Experience with food manufacturing, GMP, or regulated warehouse environments
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience in NetSuite and/or RF-Smart
  • Experience tracking operational KPIs or fulfillment metrics
