Warehouse Supervisor -
New Castle, DE Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Pay Rate:
$67k-70k
Salary Location:
Irvington, NJ Position Summary The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, handling, organizing, storing, and distributing telecommunications cable. This role serves as the on ‑ site leader and hands ‑ on coach for the warehouse team, ensuring operational accuracy, safety, and efficiency. The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate with vendor partners, manage inventory control documentation, and oversee procurement of labor, equipment, and supplies. This position reports directly to the Sr. Operations Manager. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as on ‑ site leader and hands ‑ on coach to warehouse staff Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse personnel Oversee all logistics processes from receiving to delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners and customers Track and document service provider performance Confirm and organize incoming cable shipments Manage inventory accuracy and maintain all related documentation Provide management with updates on operational performance and issues Ensure service commitments for quantity, quality, and timing are met Enforce strict security protocols to protect cable at all custody stages Schedule and consolidate outbound deliveries to minimize transportation costs Maintain a safe work environment and reinforce safety practices Ensure proper safeguarding of equipment and materials Comply with all safety, environmental, and labor regulations Assist in creating and enforcing job protocols Develop and manage operational KPIs Analyze KPI data to monitor performance and identify improvements Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in warehouse management, supply chain, logistics, or related field Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience Strong project management and multitasking abilities Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of industry procedures, costs, and terminology Ability to build trust and work collaboratively across teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong desire for professional development and future leadership roles Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and pull up to 50 lbs Ability to complete a physical fitness test Forklift operation experience and ability to pass internal forklift test
