This role leads core warehouse and transportation activities including receiving, put-away, inventory control, order fulfillment, loading, routing, and on-time delivery performance. This is a ground-floor opportunity in a growing operation where you will play a key role in building processes, driving performance, and shaping team culture. Key Responsibilities Operations Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and replenishment Ensure all cut-off times and service-level agreements are consistently met Oversee transportation activities including routing, load building, and carrier coordination Support safe use of material handling equipment (MHE) and RF scanning devices Maintain a clean, organized facility aligned to 5S/6S standards Safety, Compliance & Quality Promote a safety-first culture through daily engagement and incident reporting Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (OSHA, WHMIS, TDG, Hours of Service) Ensure load securement, documentation accuracy, and quality standards Support damage prevention, scan compliance, and accurate labeling Must be comfortable working at heights Inventory & Systems Maintain inventory accuracy above 99% through cycle counts and root cause analysis Use WMS/TMS systems (including Epicor P21) and RF technology for inventory and shipping control Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, manifests, customs paperwork where required) Cross-Functional EPS Support Load/unload packaging equipment and verify documentation accuracy Process inbound/outbound parts and equipment into WMS Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and internal teams Support equipment preparation and packaging for customer shipments Conduct semi-annual cycle counts for parts and equipment Train Service Technician on basic warehouse processes as backup support Service, Cost & Continuous Improvement Monitor KPIs daily and resolve operational issues (delays, shortages, system gaps) Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications 3-5 years of warehouse/logistics experience, including 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or equivalent experience and asset Experience with WMS/TMS systems (Epicor P21 preferred) and RF scanning tools Valid forklift/MHE certification (or ability to obtain) Strong knowledge of OSHA and transportation regulations Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience in distribution, 3PL, e-commerce, CPG, or manufacturing environments Valid passport or ability to obtain (travel may be required) Why Join Crawford Packaging At Crawford Packaging, our people are our strength. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
