Full Job Description Job Description:
Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper Coordinator to manage shipping operations, coordinate logistics activities, and ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with shipping documentation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily shipping and logistics activities to ensure on-time deliveries. Analyze shipments and prepare necessary documents to move freight from 3 ship point locations to destinations throughout the US
- Prepare and process shipping documents, bills of lading, packing slips in accordance with trading partner requirements
- Analyze shipping requirements for each trading partner, including prepaid/collect terms, rules, regulations, and account-specific restrictions.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight providers
- Monitor shipment status and resolve transportation issues or delays
- Communicate with warehouse staff, customers, and carriers regarding shipment updates
- Process purchase orders (POs) in the operating system while monitoring weekly shipping patterns and warehouse workflow.
Context:
Ensure accurate and verifiable shipment of POs to maintain effective inventory accountability. Monitor and analyze warehouse workflow and purchase order status, including open orders, pending routing, and orders awaiting customer pickup. Pull and review routing instructions. Analyze shipping requirements by trading partner and assign shipments accordingly.
Main Skills Required:
Advanced Excel knowledge. Experience in supply chain operations within a retail environment is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish-English) Experience using Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel. Strong multitasking, planning, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
