Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Lead to join our team and drive operational excellence within our distribution center. As a key leader on the warehouse floor, you will oversee daily logistics activities, manage inventory control processes, and lead a team of warehouse associates to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your role will be vital in maintaining safety standards, optimizing warehouse workflows, and supporting our commitment to timely shipping and receiving. Duties Supervise daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and inventory management to meet operational goals. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Oversee inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and proper inventory control. Coordinate logistics for 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers and manage warehouse distribution processes efficiently. Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and overall warehouse performance. Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting, materials handling, and stock movement tasks. Maintain detailed records of shipping & receiving activities, conduct regular audits for inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management. Valid forklift certification with mechanical knowledge for safe operation of heavy equipment. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety protocols. Experience with 3PL logistics providers, shipping & receiving processes, and process improvement initiatives. Excellent billingual (English/Spanish) communication skills with the ability to train staff and coordinate cross-functional activities effectively.
