Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse activities, from receiving to shipping, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Duties:
- Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Implement and enforce best practices to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and cycle counting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage workflow
- Coordinate with logistics teams to prioritize shipments and deliveries
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operations
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution center processes, and inventory control practices
- Familiarity with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards common goals
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels
