This role supports the Production Line Lead by supervising assigned personnel, monitoring equipment and product quality, and enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety protocols.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift 5:00 am to 1pm & 2nd
Shift:
1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Comply with and enforce all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) related to the production area. Maintain a thorough understanding of food allergens and ensure proper handling procedures are followed. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Verify that all safety equipment is functioning properly and that employees consistently follow safety policies and procedures. Conduct routine audits and observations to ensure team members perform their duties in accordance with established SOPs and job requirements. Monitor product weights to ensure compliance with company quality standards. Apply comprehensive knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety regulations, production processes, quality standards, workplace safety, and baking techniques. Promptly report any food safety, quality, or production concerns to the Production Line Lead. Ensure all equipment and production areas are cleaned and sanitized according to established procedures. Perform regular inspections to verify the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready production environment at all times. Coordinate smooth product transitions and shift changeovers to minimize downtime. Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and daily production targets. Operate, monitor, and maintain all equipment required to perform production duties effectively. Verify and accurately document all baking processes and production records. Ensure product quality, consistency, and availability throughout the production process. Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available to support baking operations. Collaborate with and communicate production issues promptly to cross-functional departments, including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse teams. Supervise, coach, and support assigned employees to ensure efficient and productive operations. Ensure work assignments are completed on schedule to meet daily production goals while maintaining standard line speeds, throughput, and waste control targets. Monitor product waste, ensuring it is accurately recorded, properly transported, and maintained within established company standards. Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity is preferred.
  • Understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and food allergen controls required.
  • Spanish required, English preferred.
