Job Description
This role oversees outgoing shipping operations to ensure products meet quality standards and ship defect-free. Responsibilities include managing daily production and shipping schedules, coordinating powder coating activities, monitoring loading for compliance, and verifying load accuracy and security. The position also requires reviewing shipping documentation, completing transactions in company systems, and leading the shipping team to meet daily priorities and performance goals. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with college-level coursework in business or logistics preferred, and at least one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or shipping environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively coordinate shipping and receiving processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates must demonstrate solid leadership abilities, a team-oriented mindset, and the capability to guide and motivate others while maintaining a positive work environment. Candidates must be reliable with excellent attendance, flexible with schedules, able to obtain forklift and crane certifications, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
