Job Description

Bizarre Coffee Roasters is looking for a coffee loving and multi-talented human to help us roast, pack, and ship great coffee and build out the systems and infrastructure for a burgeoning coffee business . You'll assist in day-to-day roasting operations, sourcing amazing coffee, handle shipping and inventory, and also play a critical role in expanding our warehouse facilities coffee program by developing profiles, sourcing upcoming harvests, and building coffee relationships with new suppliers.
What You'll Do:
Roastery & Fulfillment Quality control checks: cupping coffees to ensure quality standards Coffee production: weighing, bagging, sealing, and labeling Prep and pack all outgoing orders — online, wholesale, and event-related Keep the warehouse organized and running smoothly Track and restock coffee, retail, and shipping inventory Warehouse Operations & Maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production environment. Follow food safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures at all times. Dispose of waste materials responsibly and keep workstations free of clutter. Assist with general warehouse upkeep, equipment cleaning, and operational readiness. Contribute to an efficient, positive, and team-focused work environment. Team & Operational Support Collaborate with team members across roasting, fulfillment, events, and operations departments. Adapt to changing production needs and assist in additional operational tasks as needed. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for efficiency and organization. Uphold company standards for quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Prior coffee industry experience (roasting, barista, fulfillment, or sales) Self-starter with strong communication and organization instincts Clean driving record and reliable transportation Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stay active Strong technical skills and attention to detail Consistent full time weekday availability (Mon-Fri) Passion for coffee, people, and building something weird and wonderful
Bonus Points If You:
Have experience with customer service, Shopify, shipping software, or CRM tools Understand the behind-the-scenes flow of a coffee roastery Are already plugged into your local coffee or hospitality scene
