Job Description

Description:
Our organization is seeking to fulfill the role of Warehouse Coordinator that will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and smooth coordination between production, shipping, receiving, and storage activities. This role reports directly to the Director of Business Development as responsibilities align with other team members within the same reporting structure.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Control every aspect of the two onsite warehouses, as well as a fleet of storage trailers, including but not limited to: Inbound packaging, ingredients, supplies, etc. from outside suppliers Inbound production of finished product and byproducts from production Outbound shipments of finished product to customers Transfers of byproduct from RTE warehouse to raw cold storage Outbound waste Overall cleanliness/organization Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders Proper management/organization of finished lots, byproducts (by type), etc. to be grouped in storage bays together for easy inventory reconciliation at month-end as well as for ease of shipment Daily staging or prepping of upcoming raw materials that will be used in production Daily reconciliation between what production reports consuming versus what was actually consumed Ensuring FIFO usage for items with shelf-lives Reconciling inventory in ERP system (SAP B1) with actual inventory Assisting scheduling/purchasing/sales with inventory/reorder management to ensure adequate raw materials are on hand when needed Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory audits Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies Communicate well with internal teams (customer service and logistics, operations, and purchasing) Assist in training and supporting warehouse staff
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Mathematical skills and understanding of basic principles of warehouse management
  • Detail oriented and organized; strong documentation skills
  • Computation skills; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work in teams or independently
  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with superb time management and prioritization skills; ability to meet/exceed timelines
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' warehouse management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and working with
ERP/MRP/WMS
systems
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability with attention to detail
  • Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions
  • A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff
  • Ability to drive a forklift and yard truck
  • Perform other duties as required
Compensation & Benefits:
