Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind ensuring seamless shipping operations, supporting efficient warehouse distribution, and maintaining accurate inventory flow. Your energy and organizational skills will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while optimizing warehouse processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery schedules. Prepare packages for shipment by selecting appropriate materials, labeling correctly, and ensuring products are securely packed for transit. Ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment for e-commerce and wholesale clients. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying orders against shipping documents and coordinating with carriers for pickup or delivery. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software is advantageous. Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and calculating weights or dimensions accurately. Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures during load & unload activities and stock handling. Previous experience with shipping & receiving operations within an e-commerce or distribution setting is a plus.
