Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to assist with our dynamic warehouse operations. In this pivotal role, you will perform daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse workflows, and uphold safety standards to support our company's growth and customer satisfaction. Duties Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, materials handling, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS). Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Oversee forklift operations and mechanical equipment use, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline shipping & receiving procedures. Maintain strict inventory control through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities to prevent discrepancies. Experience Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar warehouse management role with demonstrated team management skills. Extensive knowledge of inventory management systems, materials handling equipment (such as forklifts), and logistics operations. Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards, OSHA regulations, and best practices in heavy lifting and materials handling. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance or troubleshooting is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Warehouse supervisor experience in environments requiring strict inventory control and process optimization is preferred.
