Position Overview You will lead a field crew responsible for executing erosion control, grading, and landscape installation on active job sites. You are responsible for production, quality, and crew performance —not just your own work. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a crew (2-6 workers) on active job sites Install silt fence, erosion control blanket, wattles, and safety fencing Oversee grading, trenching, and full site preparation Read and execute basic site plans and layouts Train and direct crew members on proper installation techniques Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet quality standards Load/unload materials and maintain tools/equipment Enforce safety standards and maintain clean job sites Communicate daily progress with management Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Must have reliable transportation to McDonough warehouse Must be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently Must show up on time daily (attendance is strictly enforced) Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions Must have prior experience in erosion control, landscaping, or construction Must have leadership or crew management experience Preferred (Higher Pay Consideration) Experience running erosion control crews Experience with skid steer, mini excavator, or trenchers Ability to read site plans and grade elevations Valid driver's license (ability to drive company truck is a plus) Compensation & Growth Performance-based raises tied to production and leadership Opportunity to grow into Project Manager / Operations Lead Consistent work on large contracts (no seasonal instability) Pay increase within 60-90 days Bottom Line This is a leadership role in a growing company , not just a job.
