We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate who is interested in working with a dynamic team to coordinate activities and operations within the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Warehouse:
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Shipping/Receiving:
Loading and offloading of product
Inventory:
Receipt, stocking, and distribution of product Forklift operation
Fleet:
Operation and fueling of vehicles as requested Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CONPETENCIES
Verbal and written flency in English Intermediate technology skills Ability to follow procedure and troubleshoot toward solutions Ability to effectively communicate within the team and with other departments
WORKING CONDITIONS
Noise level in the work environment is usually low most of the day Ability to move within the warehouse, climb ladders, reach for shelved items, squat down, and handle tight spaces Able to lift and carry 30 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Must be over 18 years of age Possess a valid State Driver's License and a clean driving record Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years work experience in a warehouse setting Ability to obtain a DOT Certification to operate flat bed and box truck vehicles Ability to obtain a Forklift Certification / Re-certification training offered by company Solar and Electrical knowledge and/or experience As a Drug-free workplace we perform random drug testing throughout employment Hawaii Energy Connection values diversity and inclusion.
