Job Description

Capitol Group is a local, customer-focused company with nine branches strategically located to provide immediate access to inventory, pricing, and shipping status. Since 1946, Capitol Group has been a leading distributor of plumbing, HVAC, industrial/mechanical, and kitchen and bath products in Illinois and Missouri. If you are Interested in the opportunity to work for a growing company that is family owned and respected, Capitol Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced team member to help oversee daily operations on the evening shift in our Litchfield distribution center. Being the team lead is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to ensure efficient inventory management, safety compliance, and smooth logistical processes.
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate inventory control and proper documentation of all transactions Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures Monitor equipment and supplies, coordinating maintenance and procurement as needed Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies Lead and motivate warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality standards Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching to team members
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics management Strong team management and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
Pay:
$26.60 per hour plus monthly bonus up to $1000 We offer full-time employees our extensive line-up of health benefits including: medical (free for employee), dental, vision, disability, life, identify theft, critical illness, and accident that are effective 31 days after hire. We also offer paid time off and 401k with a 4% employer match. We operate Monday-Friday making local deliveries, no night or weekend work. Seeking candidates that live within 20 minutes of our warehouse.
