The Impact You'll Make As a Shipping Lead at Danfoss , you will play a critical role in ensuring our products reach customers on time, in full, and without errors . Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, delivery performance, and the efficiency of our operations. You'll be the key link between shipping, production, and sales , helping teams stay aligned and informed while solving challenges quickly and effectively. Your ability to plan, coordinate, and communicate will keep our outbound operations running smoothly. Working across two nearby Louisville locations, you'll help drive continuous improvement , bringing structure, visibility, and consistency to shipping processes that support our growth and customer commitments. This is a full-time, on-site role (40 hours/week) based in Louisville, KY, supporting operations at two locations approximately one mile apart , giving you exposure to a broader operational footprint and hands-on leadership opportunities. What You'll Be Doing Plan and coordinate outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements and improve on-time performance Schedule and manage carrier pickups to ensure efficient, cost-effective transportation Prepare and validate shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, invoices, international paperwork) to ensure compliance and accuracy Monitor delivery performance and analyze trends to identify root causes and drive improvements Support daily shipping operations and team coordination to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflows What We're Looking For Experience coordinating shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of shipping documentation , including domestic and international requirements (e.g., Canada and Mexico) Comfort using ERP systems (such as SAP or Axapta) and Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently while collaborating effectively with others Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, carriers, and customers What You'll Get from Us We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
