Job Description

Fulfillment Floor Lead (E-Commerce / 3PL)
Reports To:
Director of Operations Schedule:
Monday-Friday, hours TBD (flex as needed for volume) The Fulfillment Floor Lead is responsible for executing and overseeing daily warehouse operations across receiving, pick/pack, and shipping. This role owns floor-level performance , ensuring productivity targets, order accuracy, and client SLAs are consistently met. This individual acts as the first line of leadership on the floor , directing team members, resolving real-time operational issues, and communicating progress, risks, and results to management throughout the day. Success in this role requires a balance of hands-on execution, team leadership, and operational awareness , with a strong focus on client satisfaction and continuous improvement. Core Responsibilities Daily Execution & Workflow Management Lead start-of-day huddles: review backlog, priorities, labor allocation, and SLA commitments Assign labor across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping based on volume and urgency Monitor workflow throughout the day and proactively address bottlenecks or delays Ensure all orders, batches, and shipments are processed accurately and on time Team Leadership Direct and support floor associates to maintain productivity and quality standards Hold team accountable to SOPs, RF processes, and safety requirements Provide real-time coaching and escalate performance issues when needed Maintain a positive, high-energy, solutions-oriented floor environment Performance & Reporting Track and report key metrics throughout the day (orders/hour, error rates, backlog, SLA adherence) Communicate status updates, risks, and recovery plans to management multiple times daily Lead end-of-day closeout: confirm all commitments met or clearly documented Quality & Client Experience Ensure order accuracy through QC processes and adherence to client-specific requirements Monitor rush orders, special handling requests, and client communications Act quickly to resolve issues impacting client deliverables Systems & Process Execution Ensure proper use of WMS (Logiwa or equivalent), RF devices, and batch processing workflows Coordinate shipping file preparation (UPS, FedEx, etc.) Support inventory control practices for efficient storage and picking Operational Support Step into hands-on roles (pick/pack, receiving, QC) as needed to maintain flow Support kitting, special projects, and custom fulfillment jobs Assist with onboarding new SOPs and client requirements Qualifications 3+ years in fulfillment, warehouse, or 3PL operations 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role (strongly preferred) Experience in e-commerce fulfillment environments Familiarity with WMS platforms (Logiwa preferred) and RF scanning processes Strong understanding of pick/pack/ship workflows and carrier requirements •In addition to professional growth, we offer a competitive benefits package including industry's best medical, dental, optical and life insurance plans and a paid vacation.
