This role covers everything from harvest batches to wholesale order fulfillment to Metrc reconciliation. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on organization, strong systems, and accuracy. You will work closely with cultivation, manufacturing, and leadership to make sure inventory is tracked correctly, orders go out on time, and records are always audit-ready. What You'll Do Inventory Management Maintain accurate, real-time inventory across all stages: flower, trim, in-process material, concentrates, finished goods, and packaging supplies Conduct monthly physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies in Metrc, including documenting root causes and making adjustments Monitor packaging, labels, and consumables and flag low stock before it impacts operations Identify slow-moving or near-expiration product and escalate for action (promotion, transfer, or disposal) Order Fulfillment Process inbound wholesale orders from dispensary partners across Massachusetts Pull, weigh, package, and label product accurately and consistently Generate and review Metrc transfer manifests, ensuring all details are correct prior to submission Stage outbound orders and coordinate with licensed transport for timely delivery Confirm receipt with partners and resolve any discrepancies such as short shipments or damages Metrc & Recordkeeping Create and maintain batch records throughout cultivation and manufacturing workflows Tag plants, packages, and products in compliance with state requirements, ensuring proper RFID tracking Accurately log waste, destruction, and inventory adjustments with full supporting documentation Maintain organized records including manifests, logs, and audit trails for quick retrieval Identify and escalate any recordkeeping gaps or compliance risks early Cross-Team Coordination Work with cultivation on harvest schedules and post-harvest movement Partner with manufacturing on batch creation and packaging runs Communicate inventory levels, fulfillment timelines, and any issues clearly to leadership Suggest process improvements where you see opportunities What You Bring Required 1+ year of inventory, fulfillment, warehouse, or production experience in a licensed Massachusetts cannabis facility Strong working knowledge of Metrc, including batch creation, packaging, transfers, waste logging, and adjustments Highly organized with strong attention to detail and consistent documentation practices Comfortable with structured, repetitive work that requires accuracy over long shifts Basic computer skills, including Google Sheets or Excel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for full shifts Must be 21+ and eligible for a Massachusetts Marijuana Establishment Agent registration (CORI background check required) Reliable transportation to the Lowell facility Nice to Have Familiarity with 935 CMR 500 regulations, especially around inventory, transfers, and packaging Compliance experience or interest in growing into a compliance-focused role Experience across both cultivation and manufacturing workflows Experience with additional seed-to-sale or ERP systems beyond
