Job Description
Eastport Yacht Club is searching for a Dockmaster to round out our Waterfront team. We are searching for a personable, organized, and detail-oriented candidate to run general operations for our wet and dry storage marina. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with members, Board members, and fellow staff effectively while maintaining order in a fast-paced environment. Salary Range $55,000 Job Duties Manage Marina-related Phone Calls and Email Correspondence. Liaise with other Yacht clubs regarding transient reciprocity. Clean and maintain physical docks. Coordinate with contractors for dock system repairs. Coordinate volunteer efforts on marina tasks. Manage wet and dry slip assignments. Collect annual contracts and assign billing. Attend monthly Marina Committee meetings. Move trailered boats as needed via tractor. Assist the Waterfront Director in storm securement of waterfront assets. Perform general boat maintenance for club-owned vessels. Skills Written and verbal communication Customer service Organizational Unsupervised Time Management Multi-tasking Detail-oriented Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook General boat maintenance Job Requirements Must be able to lift, push, and pull 30 lbs. Must be comfortable trailering boats. Must be comfortable driving small powerboats for logistical support. Must be comfortable answering marina-related phone calls from members.
