This role owns shipping execution end-to-end while contributing to overall warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory flow, and operational support to ensure continuity and efficiency across the function. The ShippingLogistics Lead is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution, ensuring all materials are prepared, packaged, documented, and distributed in full compliance with company SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements. This role serves as the primary point of ownership for shipping operations and is accountable for planning, preparing, tracking, and reconciling shipments from initiation through final delivery. Working cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, Customer Service, and external logistics providers, the ShippingLogistics Specialist ensures shipments are accurate, audit-ready, and completed on schedule. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational ability, and compliance awareness to support audit readiness and prevent errors or deviations. This role serves as the primary point of ownership for outbound shipping operations while actively supporting broader warehouse activities, including receiving, material movement, and inventory coordination, to ensure seamless end-to-end flow of goods.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate compliant shipping activities, including product and documentation review, packaging, and carrier scheduling, in accordance with delivery requirements, temperature conditions, hazardous material classifications, and established procedures. 2. Verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of shipping documentation and labeling prior to release, ensuring traceability and adherence to applicable procedures and regulatory requirements. 3. Maintain shipping records in an organized, accurate, and audit-ready condition in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. 4. Maintain current CFR 49 and IATA Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods certifications, as required; training will be provided. 5. Maintain appropriate inventory levels of shipping and packaging supplies and coordinate replenishment, as needed, to support uninterrupted and compliant shipping operations. 6. Serve as a subject matter resource for compliant shipping practices, documentation standards, and carrier coordination. 7. Support inbound receiving, inspection coordination, and material put-away to maintain inventory accuracy and flow. 8. Perform material handling activities including picking, staging, and internal transfers in alignment with production and shipping schedules. 9. Partner with warehouse team members to ensure efficient space utilization, organization, and readiness as the warehouse footprint expands. 10. Ensure materials are loaded and unloaded safely and in accordance with established procedures. 11. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of warehouse processes and workflows as operations scale. 12. Develop working proficiency across warehouse operations to provide flexible support and ensure operational continuity.Physical Requirements:

education requirements Experience 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, including hands-on involvement in shipping, logistics, or material handling Experience in regulated environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or similar) strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage shipping processes end-to-end, including documentation, packaging, and carrier coordination Experience supporting or collaborating across multiple warehouse functions (receiving, inventory, material movement) preferred Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or technical/vocational training in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) CertificationSkills Valid driver's license required.
