SAF‑HOLLAND is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support our daily shipping and receiving operations at our Muskegon facility. This part-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values accuracy, and takes pride in supporting internal teams and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do As our Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and products move efficiently and accurately in and out of our facility.

Key responsibilities include:

Perform domestic (and occasional international) shipping activities, including preparing bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping documentation Receive incoming materials, inspect shipments, verify quantities, and report discrepancies or freight damage Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other material-handling equipment Stage, package, and secure outbound shipments in accordance with company and carrier standards Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries and provide shipment status updates as needed Maintain accurate and organized shipping and receiving records Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures while maintaining a clean, professional work area This is a non-supervisory, hands-on role that works closely with internal partners to support smooth operations. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required (associate degree or technical training a plus) 2-3 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred Forklift/Hi-Lo certification (or ability to obtain) Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems) Manufacturing or automotive industry experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical warehouse work Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to safety Why SAF‑HOLLAND?
