Job Description

Summary of Position and Expectations:
The Receiving Coordinator is the primary day-to-day coordinator for receiving, processing, and documenting of incoming goods. They are responsible for oversight, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. The receiving coordinator reports directly to the Director of Operations and must ensure all incoming products meet the Company's quality standards.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
The following constitutes the primary duties and responsibilities of the Receiving Coordinator (please note that this list may be modified by the Director of Operations from time to time in his discretion): Direct and Lead Receiving Operation
  • The daily operations of the receiving department and accomplishing all tasks for the day, are the responsibility of the receiving coordinator. Oversee all tasks and ensure that (team) members are staying productive and are completing tasks in a safe, and timely manner. Carry Receiving Phone
  • Answer receiving phone when drivers ring from the receiving doc. The receiving coordinator should answer the door and assist with unloading or direct where product should be unloaded Document Incoming Goods
  • Check in all products on receiving tablet making sure quantity is correct. Also documenting lot codes of all product or items received. Product Organization
  • Organize product in first in, first out fashion. Documenting numbers of cases on the outside of pallet with marker as well as product name. Ensure products are put in correct assigned area. Warehouse Cleanliness
  • Keep warehouse neat and tidy-swept, free of debris, bugs, etc. Trash emptied as needed. Broken skids brought outside. Restocking of Product
  • Keep product stocked at the floor level for easy accessibility for other teams. Moving pallets of product down as needed. Monitor Inventory
  • Conduct monthly inventory and report to Purchasing Coordinator. Keep note of stock and notify Purchasing Coordinator if popular stock is running low quickly. Attendance and Participation in Monthly All Team Meetings
  • A monthly all team meeting is held in the warehouse.
All employees are required to attend unless they have time off the day of the meeting.
Other Expectations:
The expectation is that you perform your work to the best of your abilities, and as efficiently as possible, but it is also expected that you be yourself and have fun while working! If you have problems, issues, or questions, it is expected that you will bring those to the attention of the Director of Operations.

(1) come to work with a positive and humble attitude; (2) have a willingness to learn new things; (3) do not gossip or degrade other members of the team; (4) when a mistake is made, take responsibility for it, learn from it, and then move on; and (5) operate in a manner that is consistent with the Company's mission and values.
