The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products, and maintaining proper documentation. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our supply chain operations and ensuring that all inventory-related activities are carried out efficiently. Pay depending upon experience. •$500 sign on bonus to be paid after 60 day evaluation!

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control:

Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies. Use inventory management systems to track products and update records. Conduct cycle counts and assist with year-end audits. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.

Shipping and Receiving:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition. Unload shipments and ensure items are stored correctly in the warehouse. Prepare and pack outgoing shipments to meet customer requirements and deadlines. Label and organize shipments for easy identification and tracking. Coordinate with vendors and carriers for timely delivery and shipping arrangements. Make local deliveries using company vehicles.

Documentation and Reporting:

Generate and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory reports. Ensure that all shipments are properly documented, including packing lists, invoices, and shipping labels. Maintain accurate records of returned goods and defective items. Communicate any inventory or shipment discrepancies to supervisors.

Quality Control & Safety:

Ensure all products are handled and stored according to safety regulations. Follow warehouse safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Identify and report any inventory or shipment issues promptly to management.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Valid Drivers License Familiarity with inventory management software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Basic math skills and the ability to work with spreadsheets and inventory systems.

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Skills:

Forklift certification Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations. Knowledge of shipping carriers and logistics (FedEx, UPS, LT, etc.).
