  • Full-time Schmidt Goodman is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to support warehouse operations within a client warehouse environment.
This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient day-to-day operations by assisting with inventory management, logistics coordination, project support, warehouse systems, and operational activities. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with warehouse leadership, client stakeholders, contractors, project teams, and supply chain partners to ensure operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily warehouse operations, workflow coordination, and execution of operational priorities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, audits, inventory tracking, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and related technology to support receiving, inventory control, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, facilities personnel, furniture coordinators, and supply chain teams to support customer requirements and project objectives while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with warehouse organization, space utilization, inventory optimization, process improvements, and continuous operational enhancements.
  • Support employee training efforts and promote a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Provide hands-on operational support as needed, including furniture assembly and installation, loading and unloading deliveries, and other warehouse-related activities. Preferred Education & Experience
  • Degree or coursework in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, facilities support, construction support, leadership, or a related discipline preferred. Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn specialized warehouse and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, dependability, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle furniture, equipment, and warehouse materials.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, professional appearance and work ethic.
Training & Development Opportunity This position is designed as a developmental leadership role within the client's warehouse operation. Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of operational functions. Most position-specific knowledge and technical skills can be learned through structured training and practical experience.
