Job Description

JOB TITLE
Warehouse Coordinator
REPORTS TO
Warehouse Supervisor / Supply Chain Manager
FLSA STATUS

JOB SUMMARY
Works independently with limited direction from Warehouse Supervisor. Coordinates daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving. Handles basic maintenance of the department and reports larger projects to the Maintenance group. Duties include but are not limited to: Review current sales orders and create pick tickets for the warehouse team. Reports issues or special shipping requirements to warehouse supervisor. Creates all BOL's and other shipping / receiving documents including those for hazmat and export shipments. Enter appropriate information into customer portals, schedule LTL and full truckload shipments, as well as UPS and FedEx shipments. Responsible for making sure that all outgoing orders are shipped out accurately and in a timely manner. Will receive and enter documents into the LHB software system. Direct warehouse personnel for any shipping / picking needs. Assist Material Handlers with order picking and loading as needed. Works to train new employees or temporary help as needed. Demonstrates and promotes LHB's values.
JOB RESONSIBILITIES
Must follow written SOP's and possess a high degree of quality in work. Plan out finished goods shipments, create pick tickets, BOL's and other documents needed for the shipping team. Monitor customer website portals and enter all required information into their systems. Schedule trucks and prepare shipping documents including those for hazmat and international. Obtain freight quotes and shipping information for Customer Service and Sales. Moves stock weighing up to 50 pounds to and from warehouse shelves. Loads and unloads truck as needed. Maintains organization of warehouse inventory using NAV software and reports any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor or Supply Chain Manager. Perform inventory cycle counts. Assures that all movement of inventory (ie: Shipping/Receiving/Re-class) is properly done through the NAV software system. Assures that all raw and finished materials are properly marked with LHB part number and unit of measure before shipping finished material or passing raw material to the warehouse. Ensures that all warehouse, as well as shipping and receiving areas are always kept in a clean and organized manner. Must be able to drive a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains and/or arranges for general maintenance of forklifts and other departmental equipment. Required to work overtime when necessary Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRE SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE
Good computer skills. Good mathematical skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). UPS/FedEx procedures and software Hazardous Material shipping. Ability to lead and coordinate the work of others. Forklift experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. 4 years warehouse /forklift truck operation experience

Process Safety Management, per 29 CRF 1910.119 DOT HAZMAT Training, per 49 CFR 172.704(a) Hazardous Waste Management Procedures, per 40 CFR 265.16 Fork Truck Training and License, per 29 CFR 1910.178
