Job Description

SUMMARY The Supply Supervisor works closely with the Government Property Administrator and the Business Manager to ensure proper management of the Property Controls System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following.
Other duties may be assigned:
Identifies vendors of supplies, equipment, and services for potential subcontracting agreements. Writes Requests for Proposals or Request for Bids and selects final suppliers. Coordinates and develops procedures to receive, store, and issue tools, parts, supplies, and equipment. Verifies stock level of bench stock items and coordinates for replacements and fills. Conducts periodic inventory of parts, tools, and equipment. Coordinates pick-up and turn-in of used parts, tires, batteries, hazardous waste, and other recoverable waste. Reviews receipt of items on requisition or invoices. Assists in conducting inventories of supplies and equipment. Collects data and generates status reports for Project Manager. Provide supplies and equipment assets procedures. Processing transactions, movement, and storage of property, maintaining accounting documentation and inventory records by conducting inventories. Reconciles inventory disparities noted during physical inventories via appropriate research methods. Answers customer inquiries and resolves customer problems. Oversees the self-help store operations. Key controls including annual inventory of keys. Yearly physical inventory of all tools, parts, and equipment. Employees are required to drive company vehicles on a Federal Installation. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school graduate or equivalent with advanced education in the area of supply disciplines. At least six years' experience in the supervision of employees of supply and warehouse skills. Computer literacy. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers and staff members.
