Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and oversee daily warehousing activities. This is a
HANDS ON
warehouse floor management position. You will work along side the team that you manage on the warehouse floor while implementing production, productivity, quality and customer service standards to achieve the appropriate level of production each day. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company's overall warehouse efficiency. Responsibilities Achieve high levels of warehouse efficiency through excellence in receiving, organizing, stocking, and pulling inventory. Unload shipments while maintaining accuracy. Stock inventory while maintaining accuracy. Organize and maintain inventory unloadining, staging and storage areas. Determine staffing levelsneeded and assign workload. Communicate job expectations and coach employees. Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance to warehouse manager. Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative procedures and practices or adjust existing work procedures and practices. Maintain inventory records, document necessary information and utilize invnetory reports. Confer and coordinate activities with other departments. Communicate with customers to answer questions or solve problems. Skills Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques Hands-on commitment to getting the job done Strong organizational and time management skills Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations Knowledge of warehouse software and MS Office proficiency Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
