Job Description

iWest Companies is looking for a Warehouse Lead for our premiere white glove services InterWest Final Mile Logistics . This position's primary responsibilities are to support all warehouse functions for our Final Mile partners, and to support the Final Mile Market Leader and Warehouse Leader when requested or needed. Duties/Responsibilities:
Live, demonstrate, and teach the iWest Core Values at every opportunity. Lead and influence warehouse standards, inventory accuracy and customer experience expectations. Ability to lead teams and hold others accountable, meet iWest standards in all aspects of our services. Use Customer Provided software to perform Inventory Transactions with 99.5% accuracy. Assist the Warehouse Leader and Final Mile Market Leader to deliver an amazing service experience. Participates in all facets of warehousing activity operations and delivery activities as needed and directed. Support and lead on-the-road and in-the-home deliveries, with the ability to go on route as needed. Work safely and adhere to high standards of service as required by iWest and all our partners. Follow all communication procedures, guidelines, and policies. Assists and participates in loading and unloading trucks and/or delivery vehicles. Utilizes the proper operation of warehouse equipment and tools. Ensures that all freight is stored in an orderly fashion and properly tracked and accounted for. Receive returned products and processes them for return to proper location. Ensures that freight picked for multiple projects and delivery routes is organized and accurate each day. Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, recommending improvements. Assist in coordinating training of new employees and ensure that current employees are receiving ongoing training. Support and fill in for and support the Final Mile Market Leader as requested and needed by the Operations Manager or General Manager. Any other duties or tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Leader, Final Mile Market Leader, Operations Manager, and General Manager.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Leadership abilities:
outgoing with strong interpersonal skills, working leader who will assist in tasks, and strong delegation strategist. Ability to adapt/respond to different types of clients and situations. Capable of lifting up to 150 lbs without assistance and up to 300 lbs with assistance. Ability to pass an Agility Test, Drug Screen, and Background Check. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Ability to set the team pace (fast-paced). Ability to qualify as a driver, a valid and clean driver's record and a minimum of 21 years of age for insurance purposes is required. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle paperwork.
Computer skills:
technical ability/experience to navigate tracking and service apps/platforms. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent

Position Details:
Schedule:
typical hours are M-F
  • 7:30 am
  • 5:30 pm, but will adjust to business needs. Some Saturdays are required
  • alternate schedule.
Compensation:
Starting at $32.00/per hour
  • based on experience
