Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Location:
Fletcher, NC Pay:
$20/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to manage daily inbound and outbound logistics in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory control, timely shipments, and efficient material flow across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality; document and report any discrepancies Record receipts and inventory transactions within the ERP system Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including requesting freight quotes Unload containers (sea and air freight) and stock materials in designated locations Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and year-end audits Issue and track materials for production work orders Prepare shipments by labeling, packaging, and completing all required documentation Schedule pickups and communicate with carriers (LTL, expedited, etc.) Track and trace shipments to ensure on-time delivery Maintain clear communication with internal teams regarding inventory and shipping updates
Additional Duties:
Prioritize daily shipping needs in coordination with the Supervisor Identify and replace defective items before shipment Maintain accurate records, including photos and shipping documentation Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience Experience with ERP systems strongly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment #INDI
